An epitome of quality education established in 1962 by a few visionary philanthropist of the city, our college celebrated its Golden Jubilee Year in 2012. This temple of learning is continuously and consistently advancing on the path of progress and is deemed as one of the best institutions in providing sound academic inputs blended with an all round personality development approach.
The present Seminar is an endeavour to contribute in such advancement. Prof. Bhim Singh Dahiya, former Vice Chancellor, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra has graciously consented to be the Patron and to guide the proceedings of the seminar.
Literary translations bridge the emotional, cultural and specifically lingual gaps, and enhance the understanding of human beings across cultural, national and lingual boundaries. The translator recreates and redefines the sense and sensibility of a foreign culture and language. (more…)

1. National Council of Teachers of English
NCTE is devoted to improving the teaching and learning of English and the English language arts at all levels of education. Since 1911, NCTE has provided a forum for the profession, an array of opportunities for teachers to continue their professional growth throughout their careers, and a framework for cooperation to deal with issues that affect literacy education.
NCTE has 35,000 members and subscribers in the United States and other countries. Individual members are teachers and supervisors of English programs in elementary, middle, and secondary schools; faculty in college and university English departments; teacher educators; local and state agency English specialists; and professionals in related fields.
