The theme of the workshop is &#8220;English and Employability in Industry \u2013 Training the Teachers of English of Engineering Colleges&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>A note on workshop<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In this era of globalization, English is considered no more a language of prestige but utility. Apart from learning Technical English, the students need to equip themselves with soft skills like communication, inter-personal relations, time management, stress management etc. Often the employers look for young graduates who are creative, competent, committed and compassionate. Retaining one\u2019s position in an industry, even after being placed remains a challenge these days. This makes it imperative to train the students on employability skills.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Objectives<\/b><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>To help the students leave the portals of the college, well-equipped.<\/li>\n<li>To face the challenges in the industry.<\/li>\n<li>To prevent unnecessary delay in taking up the job under the pretext of training.<\/li>\n<li>To understand the different cultures of various organizations.<\/li>\n<li>To build up self-confidence.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b style=\"line-height: 1.5em;\">Workshop by<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Talent Fab<\/b> in collaboration with the Department of English<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Talent Fab is an end to end Global Talent Management Firm focusing on the selection and placement of top talents.
