When someone says they teach business English or they are studying business English it is quite possible that the speaker and the listener may have a different understanding of the term. In fact, I recently did a training session with a group of 20 teachers and when I asked them to complete the sentence \u2018Business English is&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;.&#8217; <!--more-->They came up with a diverse range of sentences, encompassing language, business communication skills needed for the world of work like telephoning, and aspects of culture.
