Now that the ESL classroom has become not only multicultural but also multidimensional, it is imperative for language teachers to\u00a0utilize technology\u00a0so as to\u00a0allow learners to use the target language in spoken and written discourse, to develop\u00a0critical thinking skills in unconventional situations and to become motivated to \u2018read beyond\u2019 the classroom for a better understanding of the world around them.<br \/>\n<!--more-->They must be taught how to\u00a0<em>read the lines<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>between the lines<\/em>, but they\u00a0should also be trained to\u00a0<em>read behind\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0<em>beyond the lines.<\/em>\u00a0One potent way\u00a0to achieve such goals\u00a0is for them be engaged in meaningful projects involving documentary
