But can something as intangible as ‘atmosphere’ be created? This talk will explore some practical ways in which group atmosphere and relationships can be enhanced<\/span>“.<\/span><\/p>\n

About the speaker<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Jill Hadfield<\/strong>\u00a0has worked as a teacher and teacher trainer in Britain, France, China, Tibet, Madagascar and New Zealand and run short courses and seminars for teachers in many other parts of the world, including: France, Spain, Algeria, Israel, Bulgaria, Germany, Czech Republic, Ecuador, Baltic Republics, Korea, Argentina and Uruguay. She now teaches with the Language Education Team at Unitec, New Zealand .<\/p>\n

She is the author of thirty books, which have been translated into a total of fourteen languages These include the Longman\u00a0Communication Games series<\/em>, five books in the\u00a0Oxford Basics<\/em><\/a>\u00a0series,\u00a0Diploma<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Classroom Dynamics<\/em><\/a>. She has also written a course for primary children:\u00a0Excellent!<\/em>\u00a0published by Longman. Two Teacher Education books were published recently:\u00a0Top Tools for Language Teachers<\/em>\u00a0(Pearson) and\u00a0Introduction to Teaching English<\/em><\/a>\u00a0(OUP) and the latter has been selected as a teacher training course for state school secondary teachers in Brazil. Her new book on motivation, co authored with Zoltan Dornyei is forthcoming in 2012.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
