This conference will be held in Hyderabad from 16 \u2013 18 March 2013. A number of experts, renowned international scholars and practicing teacher educators and policy makers will speak at the conference. We aim to reach 1200 private and public sector English language pre and in-service teacher educators and managers through this conference.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">The conference will cover one of the most pressing policy issues faced by the Government of India, which is classroom exclusion and the introduction of inclusive practices. Every classroom or training room is a collection of diverse individuals. Teachers and Teacher Educators need to be aware of, and skilled in, making effective use of these differences and similarities between people.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">This conference will allow an exchange of practices and views to explore India\u2019s rich and diverse linguistic tradition which is all too often ignored in the English classroom, and attempt to address the challenge facing teachers in both pre-service and in-service teacher education programmes. This conference sets out to explore and celebrate the tremendous diversity of teaching and learning approaches available to teachers and teacher educators across South Asia.
