{"id":3594,"date":"2012-11-09T05:00:47","date_gmt":"2012-11-09T05:00:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.eltweekly.com\/elt-newsletter\/?p=3594"},"modified":"2012-11-09T05:00:47","modified_gmt":"2012-11-09T05:00:47","slug":"vol-4-issue-46-symposium-literary-london-the-ages-of-dickens-and-victoria-oxford-and-cambridge-club-london-december-15-17","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/eltweekly.humbeestudio.xyz\/?p=3594","title":{"rendered":"Vol. 4 Issue 46 \u2013 Symposium: &#039;Literary London: The Ages of Dickens and Victoria&#039;, Oxford and Cambridge Club, London, December 15\u201317"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong style=\"color: #ff0000; text-align: center;\"><strong><strong><strong><strong><strong>ELTWeekly Vol. 4 Issue#46 | November 12, 2012 |\u00a0<strong>ISSN 0975-3036<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.literarylondonsymposium.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Literary London Symposium<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0is going be held at The Oxford and Cambridge Club in Londonduring the dates of\u00a0<em>December 15 \u2013 December 17, 2012.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The symposium will entertain papers written on subjects of literature, culture, arts, religion, capitalism, public education and of the Dickensian era through the Victoria Age.\u00a0 The Age of Dickens and the Age of Victoria, were, combined possibly the most dymanmic century ever to exist in the English speaking world.<\/p>\n<p>You are invited and encouraged to make a presentation and to provide a paper on an aspect of the Dickens and Victoria Era.\u00a0 If you wish to present\u00a0 a paper you will be requested to submit a brief abstract for review by the Programme Committee.\u00a0 Papers presented may be subsequently reviewed by external readers for possible inclusion in a special Dickens and the Victoria Era\u00a0volume.\u00a0<!--more--><em><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The meeting will begin on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 pm at the Oxford and Cambridge Club and end on Monday at 5:30 pm that afternoon.\u00a0 Lunch will be provided on Sunday and Monday along with tea\/coffee breaks.
