Education institutions are becoming increasingly aware that today\u2019s generation\u00a0of learners is different. With the widening of access to education and greater\u00a0exposure to technology, today\u2019s learners are not only much more diverse\u00a0but more wired as well. Added to this, the 21st century workplace also poses\u00a0knowledge and skill demands that are different from the previous century.\u00a0Educators have been cautioning that unless the challenges posed by this new\u00a0education landscape are addressed, they can result in dire consequences. Bored\u00a0with traditional methods, this new generation of learners may withdraw from\u00a0studies and go in search of activities that are more engaging and interactive. For\u00a0some, this may mean that they leave formal education altogether. The need to\u00a0revolutionize approaches to learning and teaching is therefore now more urgent\u00a0than ever. This international conference aims to draw attention to the need
