This temple of learning is continuously\u00a0and consistently advancing on the path of progress and is deemed as one of the best institutions\u00a0in providing sound academic inputs blended with an all round personality development approach.<\/p>\n<p>The present Seminar is an endeavour to contribute in such advancement. Prof. Bhim Singh Dahiya,\u00a0former Vice Chancellor, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra has graciously consented to be the\u00a0Patron and to guide the proceedings of the seminar.<\/p>\n<p>Literary translations bridge the emotional, cultural and specifically lingual gaps, and enhance the\u00a0understanding of human beings across cultural, national and lingual boundaries. The translator\u00a0recreates and redefines the sense and sensibility of a foreign culture and language.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The present seminar, therefore, advocates Goethe\u2019s theory that without outside influences national\u00a0literatures stagnate.The entire history of literature is replete with \u2018translation\u2019 which leads to\u00a0transculturalism and transnationalism.
