The ESL Library offers language teachers from all over the world access to thousands of printableflashcards<\/a>\u00a0and hundreds of\u00a0ready-made lesson plans<\/a>\u00a0for the classroom.\u00a0 The site was originally known as ESL-Images.com, but changed its name to the ESL Library in March 2007.<\/p>\n

\"ESL<\/a><\/p>\n

ESL-Images.com started in 2002, and grew to be one of the largest online resources sites for language teachers.\u00a0 As ESL-Images.com grew in popularity, it was clear that it was time to start offering more features, greater content, and improved functionality.\u00a0 The ESL Library was our answer.<\/p>\n

Today, over\u00a020,000 language teachers<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0have\u00a0signed up<\/a>\u00a0for access to our\u00a0lesson plans<\/a>\u00a0andflashcards<\/a>.\u00a0 If you’re not already a member, check out the\u00a0ESL-Library.com tour<\/a>\u00a0to learn more about all the benefits of joining.<\/p>\n

*** Teachitworld ***<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Teachit takes a unique approach to educational publishing. Founded by English teacher Siobhain Archer in 1999 as a spare-time addition to her teaching workload,\u00a0the online library of learning resources rapidly gathered its own momentum as her colleagues discovered the value of sharing their teaching materials. A compelling example of the true utility of the internet, Teachit grew unstoppably in response to its users’ needs and now represents a huge online community of teachers sharing resources to help focus their efforts in planning lessons.<\/p>\n

Teachit specialises in English, Drama and Media Studies teaching resources at UK primary and secondary school level. With\u00a0Teachitworld<\/strong>\u00a0we’re now extending the approach to colleagues from the world of EFL and ESOL teaching.<\/p>\n
