In this class, literary texts were used as teaching materials. This three-month long ethnographic study explored teaching practices of literature-based ESL instruction and students\u2019 perception of their learning experiences. Based on the study findings, pedagogical recommendations for L2 teachers interested in integrating literature into their L2 classrooms are offered.
