With reading, learners have time to think, but listening in another language presents a very different set of challenges for the learner. How often have we heard learners complain \u2018it\u2019s too fast, teacher!\u2019? So how can you help?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Cambridge Assessment English has created a set of five Teacher Guides to developing listening skills for&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cambridgeenglish.org\/Images\/618459-developing-listening-skills-for-a2-key-for-schools-a-guide-for-teachers.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">A2 Key for Schools<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cambridgeenglish.org\/Images\/617355-b1-preliminary-for-schools-teachers-guide-to-developing-listening-skills.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">B1 Preliminary for Schools<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cambridgeenglish.org\/Images\/620557-b2-first-for-schools-teacher-guide-for-listening.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">B2 First for Schools<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cambridgeenglish.org\/Images\/620562-c1-advanced-teacher-guide-for-listening.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">C1 Advanced<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cambridgeenglish.org\/Images\/620682-c2-proficiency-teacher-guide-for-listening.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">C2 Proficiency<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These guides are designed to help teachers understand the subskills of listening, with activities, tips and strategies to help you develop your learners\u2019 listening skills as they prepare for their exams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here are just a few of the ideas from the guides for you to try with your learners.
