Most of them benefited from regular film viewing. I also found new ways to help my students learn. In order to boost students\u2019 comprehension, for instance, I had them pick a TV series of their own choice and watch the same episodes perpetually. This helped them memorize the lines, including so many essential phrases to the extent that they were able to use them during speaking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Videos as a teaching tool<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Videos are a great tool to help engage students inside and outside the classroom. We, teachers, are no longer those old-fashioned lecturers and today\u2019s students can be easily distracted. There is no doubt that audio-visual materials have been a great help in progressing students\u2019 language learning. Therefore, using age-appropriate audio-visuals at the right time will have great benefits and powerful results.
