Objectives of the Conference

  • To provide a forum for academicians, curriculum developers and leaders from the industry to discuss issues in the development of language skills among language learners
  • To provide a forum for academicians, practitioners, service providers, students and other interested parties to discuss the latest developments in language teaching and learning
  • To promote related research to further enrich the development in language teaching and learning
  • To promote the Islamicisation of the teaching and learning of languages.
  • To encourage language educators to be involved in the research process, in order to achieve Comprehensive Excellence.
  • To produce a collection of scholarly papers presented at the conference addressing the issue of globalization in language teaching and learning.

  • April 15, 2014 (Tuesday): Full paper submission deadline (final call)
  • May 15, 2014 (Thursday): Last date for registration and payment
